Role description:
This role is part of Arcadis’ Global Excellence Centre (GEC) and will join our 3,000+ talented individuals working in India, Romania, and Philippines, in partnership with Arcadis’ offices globally. The GEC brings key capabilities and capacity to support our clients seamlessly around the world. Role accountabilities:
As a Sustainable Buildings Designer, you will be:
Making analysis, calculating, and quantifying sustainability of buildings and building-related processes. Performing dynamic simulation to calculate energy demand and comfort of conceptual building designs. Quantifying whole life carbon footprint of designs based on life cycle analysis. Footprinting existing facilities and proposing carbon reduction measures".Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Architecture. Proficiency in Excel is required; expert-level skills, including the ability to work with macros, are highly desirable. Experience with dynamic simulation software such as DesignBuilder, TrnSYS, OneClickLCA, etc., is advantageous. Familiarity with MEP design or architectural design is a plus. Knowledge of Power BI is considered an added value. Digital proficiency, with a willingness to engage with new digital tools such as AD Forma and Revit add-ons. Strong english skills Strong eagerness to learn, essential in a rapidly evolving field. Open and proactive communicator, unafraid to seek assistance from the BEL team when needed. Ability to work independently, as the sole specialist in this domain within the GEC team.Why Arcadis?
