As a Sustaining Engineer in ALS, you will be responsible for: 

Work in the following disciplines:  Mechanical Design/Project Engineer in the ESP Sustaining Team for Artificial Lift Systems.  Responsibilities to include mechanical systems design for rotating equipment, materials engineering, Design for Manufacturability, and Design for Reliability. Possess mechanical engineering design skills and the ability to develop a solid working knowledge of Electric Submersible Pumping systems are required. Structural/Mechanical load and pressure vessel calculations along with tolerance analysis will be common project requirements.Have skills using solid modeling, CAD, MicroSoft Office and other engineering design tools. Work individually and as part of a team to maintain ESP Systems, test and evaluate equipment, and provide technical assistance as needed within the Engineering team.Coordinate project work internally within the department and externally with other departments (Manufacturing, Manufacturing Engineering, Testing, Procurement, Marketing) to ensure on-time completion of projects within budget.

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or collegeShould possess good 2D & 3D CAD skills (NX preferred)3+ years of mechanical engineering experience.Very detail oriented to verify design dataExperience with root cause analysisExperience working or leading cross functional teamsHandles special projects, as assigned.
