Our Casualty Facultative broking team is seeking candidates for the following position to be based in our New York, Atlanta or Chicago offices.

A dynamic role as a member of multiple client sales teams that work collaboratively to solve complex concerns and negotiate reinsurance transactions on behalf of our clientsDiversity in day-to-day activities with moderate levels of travel across the U.S. and potentially internationallyDirect engagement with C-Suite executives at client companies ranging from national to start-up insurance organizationsSupport to grow individual talents, rise within the organization and become an industry leader

We will count on you to:

Analyze data and broking of reinsurance solutions that address client needsRespond to client and reinsurer queries and concerns, resolving issues promptlyLeverage internal capabilities together with actuarial and catastrophe modeling professionals to develop best-in-class reinsurance analyticsLiaise with contracts and accounting specialists to ensure flawless client servicingDevelop relationships and engage with new business prospectsActivate existing sales strategies and help develop new sales initiatives

Who we are looking for:

Bachelor’s Degree7+ years of casualty facultative reinsurance experienceStrong interpersonal skills for establishing and maintaining relationships and interactions with colleagues, clients and reinsurersAdept at prioritizing workload according to volume, urgency, timelines, etc. 

What makes you stand out:

Experience in sales and/or underwriting in the insurance, reinsurance or related financial services sectorBasic understanding of insurance and/or reinsurance concepts and terms, including Statutory accountingAssociate in Reinsurance (ARe) or other related insurance professional designations

The applicable base salary range for this role is $175,000 to $275,000.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
