SVP, Global Regulatory Reporting – Finance Solutions Senior Lead Analyst (Hybrid)

Our people make all the difference in our success. -------------------------------------------------------------- The Global Regulatory Reporting (GRR) function is part of the Controllers organization within the Finance function, with a mission to provide complete and accurate consolidated financial statements and other related information to regulators, investors, outside analysts and senior management on a timely basis and in the most efficient manner possible. GRR is responsible for approximately 80 US Bank Regulatory filings, including FR Y-9C/Call Report, FR Y-14 A/Q/M, FR Y-15, FFIEC 101 as well as Citigroup’s SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q and earnings release). The Finance Solution Senior Lead Analyst is an integral member of the Global Regulatory Reporting Group, which is a high-profile function, providing financial information to the regulators including the Federal Reserve Bank (FRB) and the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC). The position will implement and deliver critical projects to ensure the quality of data used by various key regulatory reports, design and implement compensating controls to monitor and improve measurement of CDE quality. The position will have a high level of visibility within the organization and a wide range of opportunities to work directly with Management. The incumbent will also build strong relationship with various groups throughout Citi, including Risk, Treasury, Controllers, SEC Reporting, Financial Planning & Analysis, Finance & Risk Systems Operations, and Basel teams. In addition, this position will work collaboratively with the Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (CCAR) Central Coordination Team to help strengthen Citi’s FR Y-14 reporting process. **Responsibilities** CDE and CDE Requirement Review: Driving improvement of data quality for key regulatory reports (Y9C/Call, Y14, Y15 etc.) with a focus on various financial products (securities, deposits, loans, derivatives, SFTs, debt, etc.) and balances (including P&L, spot and average balances) used in above mentioned regulatory reports. Manage and improve CDE and CDE requirement review processes Analyze key reporting production process documentation to identify data elements used by above mentioned key regulatory reports. Work with stakeholders (report owner, report producer and other key SMEs supporting reporting production) to document and maintain risk based Critical Data Elements used Review existing data quality controls and design fit-for-purpose data quality requirements. Work with technology to implement data diagnosis and improve data quality metrics. Work with report owner and report production team to monitor Data Quality Exceptions to identify real data concerns/issues as well as corresponding reporting impact and document accordingly Support Consent Order data related tasks (such as data lineage, reporting data requirement), working with Controller Data Team and Enterprise Chief Data Office **Qualifications:** + 10+ years of relevant experience in Finance, Accounting or related field, the financial services industry preferred with 5+ years relevant to data analysis + Results oriented with demonstrated experience and ability to design and implement solution to satisfy various reporting requirements + Familiar with report production process from end to end, especially how data are consumed by various regulatory reports (e.g. Y14 or Y9C) + Familiar with at least one of financial products (securities, or derivatives and SFTs, or wholesale loans, or retail loans) and underlying data representing this (or multiple) financial products + Analytical, flexible, team-oriented, with strong attention to detail + Exceptional analytical, strategic and problem-solving skills coupled with a strong and broad- based finance and internal control skills and attention to detail + Outstanding communication, interpersonal and influencing skills coupled with an ability to build a broad base of support among key decision makers at all levels of the organization. Demonstrated success in collaborating and building relationships and influencing across the organization + Experience and demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a complex and dynamic environment. Self-motivated with the ability to make decisions in the absence of detailed instructions. + Open minded with advanced proficiency in Excel and SQL, experience with Tableau a plus + Experience in Citi’s Finance organization and processes that span geographic, functional and business perspectives a plus + Project management experience, Agile project management, Scrum methodology desirable **Education:** + Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field.
