Job Details The SVP for Operations Integrity (SVP) is responsible for managing relationships and performance with external service providers in areas including Radiology, Pharmacy, Laboratory Medicine, Wound Care, Sleep Services, Anesthesia Services, and Ancillary Services (including Transport, EVS and Food & Nutrition). This role is vital in ensuring seamless collaboration, timely service delivery, and compliance with contractual and regulatory standards, fostering the commitment of Catholic Health to delivering high-quality patient care. This position will collaborate with local entities to lead a system-wide standardization effort in all dedicated departments. Key Responsibilities: Vendor Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact between the health system and third-party vendors and partners across various service departments. Establish and maintain strong, effective working relationships between external vendors, partners and internal resources to ensure continuous and high quality service delivery. Coordinate meetings and communications with vendor representatives and partners to discuss performance, expectations, and operational requirements. Contract Negotiations & Compliance: Oversee the negotiation and management of contracts with third-party vendors on behalf of Catholic Health and all individual entities. Ensure that all contracts align with Catholic Health policies, legal, compliance and supply chain standards, and budgetary goals. Monitor contract terms, service level agreements (SLAs), and regulatory requirements to guarantee compliance. Service Coordination & Monitoring: Collaborate with hospital leadership to integrate third-party services into hospital operations, ensuring the seamless delivery of patient care. Monitor and evaluate vendor performance, including service delivery, responsiveness, and quality standards. Work with internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve any operational issues or discrepancies with vendors. Quality Control & Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure that third-party vendors and partners adhere to hospital standards of care and regulatory guidelines. Conduct regular audits and performance reviews of vendors and partners to assess the quality and efficiency of the services provided. Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for optimization in third-party service delivery. Financial Management: Assist in managing budgets related to third-party vendor services, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising on quality. Collaborate with the Finance department to monitor and review invoicing, payment processes, and financial tracking for vendor services. Provide regular reports on vendor performance and cost management to senior leadership. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (e.g., Radiology, Pharmacy, Laboratory Medicine, Anesthesia, Wound Care, etc.) to ensure smooth integration and communication between hospital departments and external service providers. Provide support and guidance to department managers in resolving vendor-related issues or concerns. Participate in strategic planning meetings to align vendor services with hospital goals and objectives. Risk Management & Crisis Resolution: Proactively address any potential risks or service disruptions by collaborating with vendors to implement contingency plans. Assist in resolving disputes or conflicts between the hospital and vendors, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal impact on patient care. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred). Minimum of 5+ years of progressive senior leadership experience in healthcare administration managing relationships with vendors, system leadership and clinical partners. Strong understanding of hospital operations, medical services, and industry regulations. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with contract management software and performance tracking tools. Salary Range USD $375,000.00 - USD $425,000.00 /Yr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
