SVP, Private Client Banking Sales & Strategy – RJ Bank

Job Summary

Job Summary

Under executive direction with a high level of autonomy, uses extensive knowledge and skills obtained through education and experience, to lead sales, marketing and educational efforts for all Private Client Banking (PCB) products. Sets strategic direction to educate PCG management, advisors, and branch professionals to increase engagement and achieve PCB sales targets. Leads large and/or multiple projects with significant scope and impact. Works independently on difficult assignments that are broad in nature requiring originality and ingenuity with appreciable latitude for unreviewed actions or decisions. Provides comprehensive solutions to complex problems. Results are evaluated at agreed upon milestones for effectiveness in achieving specified results. Extensive contact with internal and external customers is required to identify research, analyze and resolve complex issues.

· Leads all internal sales efforts (internal baking consultants, Mortgage Consultants and SBL Consultants), oversees education initiatives and develops strategic marketing objectives to drive increased advisor participation and adoption of Private Client Banking products.

· Advances strategic growth initiatives for all Private Client Banking (PCB) products including collaborating with other departments across the firm.

· Oversees all opportunities to sell, educate, market and promote Private Client Banking (PCB) products and communicates those opportunities to internal and external sales teams and PCB executive leadership.

· Leads key communication efforts in conjunction with product partners and teams to include product education, positioning, material product changes and enhancements.

· Develops and deepens relationships to strategically promote and integrate PCB products to expand firm planning capabilities, generate new business opportunities and increase PCB sales and advisor engagement.

· Ensures product marketing content and campaign development aligns with strategic PCB objectives.

· Oversees advisor education strategy including national/regional conferences, senior level advisor and client seminars, branch presentations, advisory councils, and other sales functions.

· Represents the firm at industry conferences and applicable meetings.

· Strategic oversight of planning and execution of advisor and branch education of PCB products.

· Works with product teams to establish sales budgets and holds team accountable for production and profitability objectives.

· Performs first line functions and may interact with Regulators and the Board of Directors and performs financial management tasks.

· Manages business unit in accordance with established Bank policies and practices to achieve satisfactory safety and soundness and compliance regulatory examination results.

· Performs human resources activities, including administering progressive discipline policies; evaluating performance; approving recruitment of new or replacement positions and approving training and development recommendations and providing appropriate developmental resources.

· Participates in developing, implementing and maintaining policies, objectives, short-and long-range planning; and develops and implements projects and programs to assist in accomplishment of established goals.

· Influences solutions to complex client needs for other financial services promoting RJ Bank products and affiliate relationships.

· Incorporates Service 1st philosophy in product and service deliveries.
