SVP, Succeed at Citi and Employee Experience Manager
**Position Overview** The Succeed at Citi and Employee Experience Manager is responsible for managing the evolution of the US Branch Network recruiting, onboarding, development, and career pathing capabilities to support talent growth and create a comprehensive employee lifecycle within the organization. In addition, the position is responsible for the US Branch Network employee experience strategy supporting Voice of Employee program initiatives and action plans. **Job Responsibilities** + Supports planning, directing and coordination of day-to-day activities of running Succeed at Citi + Collaborate with leadership to prioritize strategic objectives that allow for continuing education and growth opportunities + Formulate business strategies and policies for organization growth; ensure superior execution of all plans + Serve as Culture Champion for the US Branch Network, identifying and implementing activities and routines to create high levels of employee engagement + Lead Voice of Employee action planning and activities ensuring all people managers have a VOE plan and provide updates on progress to leadership + Lead Diversity and Inclusion activities for the Branch Network, in support of Voice of Employee priorities and initiatives + Partner with Learning and Development to ensure curriculum is modern, relevant, aligned to business strategies/priorities and advances the skill set of employees as roles evolve + Work closely with branch sales execution and field leaders to understand skill and knowledge gaps preventing higher performance and develop strategies to build required skills + Partner with Learning and Development to create robust upskilling plans that build strong role competency and confidence + Oversee key analysis and support for negotiations while working closely with internal and external partners to structure and execute transactions + Make timely, fact-based decisions and provide clear direction to teams + Encourage teamwork with other Citi businesses + Ensures all stakeholders are identified and included in scope definition activities + Ensures stakeholders understand the program schedule and key milestones + Ensures program stakeholders receive schedule status regularly through constant and clear communication of objectives, status, tactics, and results; identify metrics-driven insights, plus required actions + Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citi, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards **Qualifications / Skills** + 11+ years of experience in retail branch banking supporting growth and development, sales and service or employee engagement; master’s or MBA preferred + Experience managing teams with broad accountability in a complex, matrix environment + Record of achieving business goals with an ability to translate vision into executable plans + Excellent strategic insight and ability to lead change, with history of execution excellence + Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level + Ability to size and prioritize initiatives across businesses + Problem structuring and analytic capabilities; ability to take a complex problem and organize it in discrete pieces for solution with a pragmatic approach to ensure limited resources are directed appropriately + Continuously challenging the status quo.
