Responsibilities:

Participate in a team of software engineers to conduct verification of software applications and tools for Varian’s latest treatment delivery system. Work with software developers and product management to identify system and subsystem requirements.Develop test cases and perform test execution in an efficient and timely manner.Develop automated tests using C# or Python.Develop, modify and execute software test plans.Analyze product marketing requirements, design, code and test software.Perform hands-on installation and configuration of SW components for the verification test environment. Support application localization. Write requirement specifications, design documents and other technical documents such as user manuals. (5 %)Provide feedback on planning and status information. Performing automation software testing using systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for treatment delivery products.Developing, modifying, and executing automation software test plans.Maintaining documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software.Analyzing test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective actionsPerforming product testing independently in test labs and test cell environments.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science (or a related technical field) and 5+ years of related working experience Or MastersDegree in Computer Science (or a related technical field) with 3+ years of related working experience.Strong programming skills, preferably in python and experience working with .NET framework.Ability to demonstrate solid Object-Oriented Programming knowledge.Proficiency in TFS (Azure) is a plus.Professional work experience in testing of software.Experience with Medical device testing in software/hardware integration is highly desired.Strong knowledge of software testing methodology, industry standard testing, and bug tracking tools.Good written and verbal communication (English), and strong interpersonal skills.Ability to work on assigned tasks under tight time constraints.Ability to do computer tasks with minimal supervision.Solid understanding of software development life cycle.Experience in a clinical radiation oncology environment and working knowledge of Varian products (Treatment Planning, information systems, treatment delivery systems) are highly desired.

The base pay range for this position is

Min $126,200 - Max $189,200

Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Siemens Healthineers offers a variety of health and wellness benefits including paid time off and holiday pay.
