As a Qualcomm Software Engineer, you will design, develop, create, modify, and validate embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and/or specialized utility programs that launch cutting-edge, world class products that meet and exceed customer needs. Qualcomm Software Engineers collaborate with systems, hardware, architecture, test engineers, and other teams to design system-level software solutions and obtain information on performance requirements and interfaces.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

Title: EngineerJob function: Software Development EngineerSkills/experience:1-3 years’ experience in video domain (preferred)Solid C\C++, multithreading and OS concepts\fundamentals. Good analytical and problem solving skills.Experience in Android multimedia framework and\or Video4Linux2 (V4L2).Knowledge of Video user space hardware abstraction layers like Codec2.0, OpenMax IL.Linux Operating system (Kernel, Performance).Knowledge of video specification such as H.265/H.264/VP8/VP9Experience in several of the following areas: (Good to have)
- Video usage models including playback, streaming, camcorder, and content protection
- Android multimedia frameworks and video related applications
- Streaming protocols and implementation (e.g HLS/HTTP/RTSP/DASH)
- Linux device driver development and debugging (e.g. V4L2)
- Expertise in working with tools and techniques used on Linux (Windbg, JTAG, etc.)
- ARM or other embedded SoC development and debuggingResponsibilities:Part of video development team and will be responsible for bring-up, design, development, optimization and productize video use cases on Android and Linux mobile platforms.Education requirements:BE\BTECH\ME\MTECH in EC\EE\CS or related field from reputed college\institution
