Position Title SWAT Supply Planner Function/Group Logistics Location Mumbai Shift Timing 1.30 pm to 10.30 pm Role Reports to Supply Planning Leader, Global Planning Hub Remote/Hybrid/in-Office Hybrid: Currently 2 days in a week but need to adhere if it changes in future. Job Overview The SWAT Supply Planner (Strategic Work Action Team) role is a unique opportunity to interact cross-functionally across Supply Chain sub-functions, with Org Units, and with a global team. In this role, you will take ownership of supply plans that support business demand, mitigate Supply Chain and business risks, and deliver optimal cost and service. Responsible for Capacity Planning and Inventory management for respective platforms. Function Overview The GIC Supply Chain team manages end-to-end operations, encompassing planning, sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, and analytics. They strategically plan to meet market demands, optimize sourcing, ensure efficient production, and oversee the seamless movement of goods from production to delivery. The team employs advanced analytics throughout these processes, fostering adaptability and operational excellence. This collaborative approach ensures a well-coordinated supply chain that aligns with both organizational goals and dynamic market conditions. Link Purpose of the role To maintain defined inventory levels of all assigned products at every General Mills location by creating or adjusting replenishment requisitions and STPO's as necessary. Distribution planning of FINI/SEMI products across the DRY and Temp controlled network to achieve service level targets within acceptable cost parameters while leveraging existing ERP solutions like OMP, SAP, Analyzer etc. Key Accountabilities 100% Of Time Have direct accountabilities for Supply Planning development, execution, and results Develop robust production schedules that service demand/business needs via engagement with Business Teams and coordination across Supply Chain partners. Lead the execution of platform capacity modeling and provide insights to the business team via Integrated Business Planning Lead the mitigation of aging semi-finished and finished product. Facilitate the resolution of supply gaps resulting in service issues across Logistics and the entire Supply Chain function. Implement holistic process improvements for Supply Planning Consult and support on holistic waste reduction. Drive a continuous improvement mindset through waste elimination, improving, standardizing, and automating existing processes. Mentor & train team members to develop SWAT capability within the HUB Demand planning team. Partner with the GPE and OU team to work on crucial SWAT requirements for business acumen & process improvements.. Influence the Supply planning teams to improve the adoption of analytics. Influence, consult, and communicate with stakeholders about project deliverables, future pipeline, and feedback loop. Specific Job Experience or Skills Needed Minimum 3+ years of work experience in Supply planning, Capacity planning, inventory management , S&OP, IBP. Can prioritize and complete multiple tasks on tight deadlines. Experience collaborating with cross-functional business partners at all levels to improve process and drive business results. Experience analyzing complex data and making recommendations. Experience successfully developing and implementing new ideas and approaches. Preferred Qualifications Preferred Major Area of Study: Premier technical/ management institutes Preferred Professional Certifications: CSCP, CPF- Certified Professional Forecaster by Institute of Business Forecasting Minimum years of related experience required: 3 + Years Preferred years of related experience: 5 to 8 Years Minimum Degree Requirements: Bachelors Preferred Degree Requirements: Masters
