Job Description:

Switchboard Operator-PRN

Primarily responsible for answering and routing all calls.  Remains updated on all Code procedures (Code 1, Disaster, fire, bomb, electrical, etc.)  Responds to all alarms.   Responsible for overhead paging. Requires incumbent to constantly remember multiple task. Operating multiple screens. Functions as information desk. Adheres to specific hospital policy and procedures.Demonstrates a commitment to the mission, vison and values of Baptist Health

Requirements:

High School Graduate or GED required.Minimum of one-year related experience preferredHowever, completion of a training course in operation of PBX or related equipment accepted. Additional training preferred with emphasis on commercial courses, particularly Typing and English. Will give on the job training.Computer skills helpful
