Reports to: Director of Operations

Job Summary: Places, receives and routes a high volume of calls through a multi-line switchboard. Supplies information to caller’s and may relay messages. Attend to visitors and deal with inquiries on the phone and face to face. Supply information regarding the organization to the general public, clients and customers. One year of training in switchboard. Basic computer skills. Excellent customer service and phone etiquette. Correct English skills, grammar spelling etc..

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

Answer telephone, screen and direct calls Take and relay messages upon request Provide information to callers, greet visitor. Direct persons to correct destination Assist with queries from the public and patients Assist patients in call for transportation Ensures knowledge of staff/providers physical location/office within the organization General administrative and clerical support at times Prepare letters and documents upon request, receive and sort mail and deliveries if necessary Provide information regarding appointments upon request  Maintain  a clean and organize reception area.

Job Qualifications:

High school graduate or GED equivalent Strong customer service orientation Excellent telephone etiquette Strong team player Basic computer proficiency
