Summary Job title: Switchgear Quotations Specialist - Solar Job ID: 202450400006 Department: SF Bay Area - Greentech Renewables Location: CA-Hayward Description Summary: Greentech Renewables is looking for an experienced Switchgear Quotations Specialist. The Switchgear Quotations Specialist is responsible for establishing relationships with customers and vendors to secure pricing positions for bids. This individual is also responsible for reviewing bid packages, formulating project quotations, and providing product knowledge Reports to: Profit Center Manager Minimum Qualifications: + High School or GED + 2+ years of customer service, project management, or related experience preferred + Experience with electrical distribution, lighting, and controls, or adjacent industry preferred Preferred Qualifications: ADDITIONAL COMPETENCIES: + Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines + Strong organizational skills + Product and application knowledge being developed + Customer-oriented and motivated with excellent communication, interpersonal skills, customer service, time management, and problem-solving skills + Ability to establish good relationships and credibility with all project stakeholders + Ability to collaborate with sales team, customers, and vendors + Must possess an entrepreneurial spirit, be self-motivated, and be enthusiastic about business + Desire and aptitude to learn quickly with a growth mindset/self-improvement, and continuous learning Working Conditions: Working conditions will vary among office, warehouse environment, and job-site visits. Supervisory Responsibilities: No Essential Job Functions: + Quote low to moderate profile/complex projects + Review bid package and all the requirements surrounding the package including technical requirements, approved manufactures list, commercial requirements, and documentation requirements + Work closely with Outside Sales to discuss the strategy and approach for each proposal request + Format customer request into a quote for bid review + Break down bid package and issues Request for Quotation (RFQ) to vendors for project quotation levels while communicating deadline, project information, and any additional pertinent information available + Prepare and submit a final proposal with all required documentation + May negotiate pricing with suppliers and offer substitute products where appropriate + Participate in product meetings and trainings to enhance and maintain personal product knowledge + Meet with the Outside Sales team to discuss vendor strategy + Establish and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers + Other duties as assigned CED is an Equal Opportunity Employer - Disability | Veteran Compensation Range: The compensation range for this position is $75000 to $150000 annually.
