Our Syndicated Finance Group is looking to add a senior banker with the strong background in Structured Finance to join our team. This individual will be responsible for expanding new investors to expand East West Bank brand awareness in the syndicated bank loan market. In addition, this individual will be responsible for assisting Syndicated Finance Group with all aspects of the structuring, executing and managing of syndicated credit facilities led by East West Bank.
Responsibilities Actively support Syndicated Finance Group in structuring, execution and management of syndicated lending opportunities led by East West Bank. Develop a diversified base of new institutional investors and maintain an internal database of existing and potential institution investors.Research and track the activities and credit appetite of the existing participating lenders and potential investors. Work with team members to develop syndication strategies and target lender lists on East West Bank led syndicated transactions.Assist in the syndication execution process, including market sounding, pricing/structure guidance, marketing material preparation, investors outreach and lender due diligence support.Administer deal data rooms, field lender diligence requests / questions and prepare notification as needed. Assist with the coordination of syndicated loan closing activities with participant lenders, business units, outside counsels and internal functional areas, particularly in the legal documentation, deal settlements and revenue recognition.Assist in analyzing and generating data bases and reports to help Syndicated Finance build out the capital markets capability at East West Bank.Other duties including ad hoc reports and special projects as assigned. Qualifications Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience in bank loan syndication market, debt capital markets or similar experience.Excellent analytical, quantitative, and communication (both verbal and written) skills to be able to interact with both internal and external parties confidently and professionally.Strong organizational skills with demonstrated track record of managing and independently prioritizing multiple simultaneous projects under pressure and tight deadlines. Proactive and highly motivated. Ready to assume a high level of responsibility. Highly collaborative individual who seeks working in a team-oriented environment.Strong focus on result driven performance, accountability, entrepreneurial mindset, customer win-win relationship, attention to deal and pride of ownership. Familiar with syndicated credit agreementsHigh proficient with Power Point, Excel, and Word.Formal credit training and credit underwriting experience strongly preferred. Compensation The base pay range for this position is USD $69,000.00/Yr. - USD $145,000.00/Yr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
