The System Administrator is responsible for all operational aspects of the installed Infrastructure, with special attention to providing a reliable service to the stakeholders. A System Administrator should have excellent troubleshooting skills to be able to manage and solve complex incidents, while having the ability to continue development of the infrastructure to improve service. The System Administrator will assist with technical strategic plans, turning these into actions that they are responsible for managing and implementing long-term. Also, this position should possess the knowledge and skills to understand the stakeholders needs, design and implement solutions in the production environment. This role is primarily focused on managing, developing and maintaining an operational infrastructure in the Americas. Working to quickly resolve incidents and problems that occur, minimizing the impact on the Region to keep a high availability of the infrastructure.
What you’ll do here as the System Admin - Regional IT Ops & Support?
Assist with IT Scope during Axis Experience Center (AEC) and other Facility buildouts, including turn-ups
Operate and monitor local area networks (LAN)
Install and configure software, hardware and networks
Ensure security and efficiency of IT infrastructure
Troubleshoot issues and outages independently
Liaise with HQ in Lund to escalate and resolve issues with networks, servers and enterprise applications.
Responsible for access control infrastructure
Assist with upgrades of systems
Train staff on new technologies
Respond to service requests and provide end-user support, including training as needed
Build and maintain internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies
Identify and suggest possible improvements to policies, procedures and systems

Attention to detail and the ability to accurately document technical issues
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Works cooperatively and collaboratively within a global team
We'd love to hear that you have/are:
Associates / Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems
3+ years of System Admin experience with databases, network, hardware / software upgrades, network design
IT Certifications
