Volt is immediately hiring for Onsite System Administrator in Gardena, CA

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tAs an Onsite System Administrator, you will Provide general hardware and software support services troubleshooting working with network and client hardware, software applications, and other IT related issues\r\n\r\n\r\n

\r\n\r\n

Responsibilities:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tProvide general hardware and software support services troubleshooting working with network and client hardware, software applications, and other IT related issues\r\n\tSetup, install and configure Servers and Network equipment\r\n\tAdminister, troubleshoot and support network cabling and mesh Wi-Fi network\r\n\tSetup, administration and troubleshooting Microsoft Windows Servers and Windows PC client workstations utilizing Active Directory\r\n\tActive Directory Management\r\n\tGroup Policy Management\r\n\tWork with existing help desk staff to restore service and/or identify and correct core problem, training them in networked systems support and troubleshooting\r\n\tAdminister and Support Microsoft 365 and MS Teams users\r\n\tMaintain AD Connect service\r\n\tImplement, Support and Monitor and Document network and end user Cybersecurity\r\n\tWork with outside network support consultants coordinating monthly server maintenance and server patching. Onsite and Offsite backups, Cybersecurity and other support services • Address end user client questions researching available information resources\r\n\tHelp develop and document company I.T. Support policies, procedures and directives\r\n\tCommunicate company policies and standards to end users.\r\n\tDocument Existing Network, Server, and Client Devices\r\n\tRecommend hardware, software and system process changes as needed to improve company operation and IT service levels\r\n\tStay current with information technology systems and industry trends\r\n\r\n\r\n

This is Fulltime Contingent opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tBS degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience) is beneficial, but not required\r\n\t5-7+ years network administration in a Microsoft Windows server environment utilizing Active Directory\r\n\tExcellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills\r\n\tHands on team player\r\n\tSuperb attention to detail and accuracy\r\n\tAbility to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and efficiently\r\n\tFollow up and follow through with tasks at all levels\r\n\r\n\r\n

\r\n\r\n

Pay Rate: $35/hour to $36/hour

\r\n\r\n
