Our client, a small local energy and utilities company, is looking for a System Administrator to join their team. In the role, you’d be pivotal to the maintenance of their system infrastructure and security. They are seeking a Windows system generalist who is ready to help out where needed – whether that’s ensuring their system security doing intrusion mitigation or working on their VMware servers or helping out with support tickets.

You would be helping maintain a smaller infrastructure environment, doing a variety of Windows system administration functions and support. They need someone with a solid foundational knowledge of system security who can help them upgrade to and secure their Windows environment. Tech wise, they need someone strong with Windows, VMware, AWS, Active Directory/Group Policy, and Microsoft 365.

This is an onsite role in Fort Worth, Texas. Compensation is $100-110K annually. Required Skills & Experience Experience working within a Windows environment, supporting end-users and maintaining servers. Experience maintaining VMware environments working with vSphere and vSphere Replication. Strong foundational knowledge of system security (including intrusion mitigation and detection). Willingness to help with support tickets when necessary. Strong written and verbal communication. Desired Skills & Experience Bachelors or Masters degree or related certifications nice to have. Any knowledge of network administration or troubleshooting a perk.
