Complete Description:
Job duties include but are not limited to testing for compatibility between Windows 7 desktop OS and 3rd party software, Windows 7 desktop OS deployments, Windows Server Support, Active Directory Group Policy configurations, Active Directory Account Mangement, VMWare ESX upgrades and VM Server optimization, System Center Configuration Manager upgrades and client support, Network Security analysis and optimization, Lan/Wan Management support.
Any familiarity with Cisco Routers and Switches; Cisco VoIP Phone System, Checkpoint Firewall, McAfee EPO, IBM XIV SAN, Oracle DB and SQL DB would be a plus, but is not required for this position.
Other attributes - strong communication skills, ability to work independently, work well as both a team member and a lead worker, excellent customer service, strong trouble-shooting ability and and strong procedure documentation skills.
Position is slated to run through the end of June, with a possibility of extension into the new fiscal year.
