About the role:

As a Systems Administrator, your team will maintain the critical server infrastructure that allows us to advance the way the world pays, banks and invests. You’ll be responsible for deploying new technologies as well as ensuring system performance.

About the team:

FIS Managed IT group provides support and implementation solutions to customers throughout the U.S. Our engineers work to provide support, design solutions, hardware systems, and provide top-tier customer service.

What you will be doing:

Provide Wintel support for the hosted systems.

Support escalations from engineers for day to day and projects

Serve as the subject matter expert of customer environments

Windows Server 2012+ Administration

Advanced knowledge of Windows 10+ OS Desktop administration

Provide technical leadership and mentoring for other engineers on your team

Manage and maintain customer server environments in our hosted platform, on-premise (remotely), and cloud native environments

Manage and maintain Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops as front end supporting applications such as Workspace

M365 Support and Administration

Microsoft Intune Administration (including auto-pilot)

Azure AD Basic Support

Knowledge of MFA methodologies

Knowledge of VMware for support of servers and server builds

Assist with audit and vulnerability remediations for workstation and server environments as needed

Working with various teams and major incident management teams to resolve support escalations and outages

Proactive maintenance of the client systems we support.

Expand platforms as necessary and refine processes for better environment performance

What you will need:

Strong analytical troubleshooting skills to identify issues that could cross multiple business areas/teams and technologies

Expert in independent and collaborative troubleshooting, critical thinking, and the ability to know when to escalate

Proven experience performing systems engineering and administration of end user systems.

Extensive VMWare and virtualization skills, preferably VMware certified but not required.

Experience with PowerShell scripting to manage hosted infrastructure

Experience with server hardware, for example Hypervisor or ESXI server builds

Experience with MS server 2012, 2016, and 2019 operating systems

Experience with Active Directory management, maintenance, Azure Entra ID knowledge, and Azure AD administration.

TCP/IP, network monitoring and tools and technical writing principles and practices

Strong sense of customer focus, ownership, urgency, and drive

Understanding of SSL, Internet (SMTP, LDAP, DNS), TLS, and other networking protocols.

Experience with installing, deploying and supporting multi-tier applications.

Professional and responsible attitude with the ability to work without supervision.

Proven experience working within SLA’s, change management processes, and an ITIL v3/v4 framework.

Excellent communication (verbal and written), follow-up skills, and paying strong attention to detail.

Deep understanding of change management process

Understanding of how to do an application deployment via the use of BigFix, SCCM, or similar toolset

Ability to participate in on-call rotation schedule

Added bonus if you have:

Experience in Linux Administration

Azure Foundations Certification or above

M365 Administration Certification

CCNA

Other Support Tools Experience a plus: SCCM, WDS, WVD, iBoss, Crowdstrike, IIS, BigFix, ServiceNow, etc.

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $31.46 - $51.28 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
