Belay Technologies is seeking a System Administrator to join our intel team. We are seeking a Systems Administrator for San Antonio location, to implement, troubleshoot and maintain Information Technology (IT) systems.
The System Administrator will:Configure, install, manage and troubleshoot UNIX and Windows operating systems and GOTS/COTS softwareSupport to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devicesOptimizes system operations and resource utilization, and performs system capacity analysisAt least 5 years troubleshooting software installations and operationsUnderstanding of computer networks with ability to identify, troubleshoot, and document network connectivity and performance issuesTier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problemsAt least 5 years analyzing and correcting data flow issues within systemsExperience in understanding network diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot dataflow and computer system related issuesWorking knowledge of enterprise dataflow and Nifi is helpfulWilling to work nights on a 24/7 shift work teamWilling to travel for a two-week training course, upon startAdditional travel may occur for as needed site visits.
Candidates are required to have the following skills:TS/SCI Clearance with polygraphBachelors degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is requiredFive (5) years’ experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree CWIP Certification Compliance with IAT Level I is required. (i.e. security+) Candidates are desired to have the following skills:Comfortable interacting with customer, users and other teams regarding system information and troubleshooting
