ITA is seeking a System Administrator to join the team at our Headquarters Office in Newport News, VA.
ResponsibilitiesWe are looking for an experienced System Administrator to join our team, focusing on maintaining and optimizing ITA enterprise systems. In this role, you will manage our Office365 environment, support developers with deploying virtual systems in the Azure cloud and offer end-user support to both local and remote staff. Additionally, you will work closely with the Director of Technology Operations to build and maintain the secure infrastructure, processes, and procedures necessary for a growing technology enabled professional services company.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Configure, maintain, and upgrade network equipment hardware & software.Implement, troubleshoot, diagnose, validate, and resolve hardware, software, firmware, and network problems for Windows PCs and Apple computers and document remediation steps.Administer Azure Entra ID, Teams, Power Platform, Exchange and SharePoint configurations and user accounts.Provide enterprise systems configuration and maintenance including Azure virtual servers and software systems.Administer the policies in Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Azure Entra ID and Sophos Central to ensure the proper maintenance of security standards on ITA PC and Apple devices.Develop automated solutions for Azure and Office365 administrative challenges using PowerShell.Support the work of the development teams through proper creation and administration of Azure virtual resources and the administration of the Power Platforms.Support the Director of Technology Operations in providing systems security management, technical analysis, and documentation support.Support the Director of Technology Operations in translating business needs into viable technology solutions that meet the needs of internal customers.Provide support for the organization’s security strategies. QualificationsRequired:
5 years of relevant technology experience2 years of experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows OS and hardware.1 year of experience with PowerShell for automation and management within an Azure AD and Office3651 year experience with installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Apple MacOS Support.Demonstrated advanced knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Cloud architecture.Demonstrated advanced knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Endpoint Management server administration, compliance policy maintenance and conditional access policies.Demonstrated advanced knowledge and understanding of Office365 administration.Demonstrated advanced knowledge of Microsoft Security, compliance, and identity solutions.Strong verbal and written communication skillsDesired:
Bachelor's degree.Microsoft Azure Certifications in fundamentals, security and/or office365 administration.Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Azure Virtual Machine creation and maintenance.Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Azure SQL server deployment.Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Networking protocols and support needs.Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Sophos security software.
