Selected by the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center’s Strategic Warning and Surveillance Systems Division for Operations, Maintenance, and Sustainment (OM&S) of critical mission systems for the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) Cheyenne Mountain Complex (NCMC), we support the Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (ITW/AA) and Space Support Contract II (NISSC II).
Since 2020, through the (ITW/AA) and Space Support Contract II (NISSC II), has provided\:
Operations, maintenance, and Sustainment of current and legacy systems for the surveillance and cataloging of manmade objects in space. Mitigation of orbital conflicts. Threat warnings and control from airborne, land-based, and space-based systems for threat activities. Operations and maintenance of classified communications. The System Administrator/DRSN supports North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) on the Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (ITW/AA) and Space Support Contract II (NISSC II). The candidate will\:
Provide support to monitor, install, and perform maintenance on DRSN networks, and equipment. Respond to DRSN system user requests for assistance. Perform on-the-spot diagnostic evaluations, implementation of corrections, and training users in proper operations of DRSN systems/programs. Provide support and perform upgrades to platforms, train staff, and maintain daily logs. Provide 24/7 maintenance support, complete the modification, and installation of the secure Defense Red Switch Network, cryptographic equipment (i.e., KIV-7M), and instruments (IST, STE, and STU-III). Provide DRSN initial and recurring training for all users. Update the equipment and help ensure inventory is accurate. Ensure the REMEDY ticketing system is kept up to date on DRSN trouble tickets for problem/resolution to exceed customer repair requirements. Route calls, transfer information, and handle administrative duties. Serves as a backup to the lead computer systems administrator. Complete various tasks such as typing, checking, and recording information. Oversees the order and replacement of new hardware and software, including warranty claims. Performs and provides server, workstation, and system expertise including on-site and off-site travel. Develops and implements system documentation and operating procedures. Clearance Requirement – TS w/SCI eligibility. Experience with Telephone maintenance. IAT Level II Certification (CCNA-Security, CySA , GICSP, GSEC, Security CE, CND, SSCP) 1 year of directly related experience. 3 years of work history. May require climbing, working at heights, and in small, confined spaces such as under raised floors, inside closets, and server racks. Must be able to sit, stoop, kneel, or crouch for long periods. Work in noisy areas with hotter and colder temperatures than standard office environmental conditions. Lift and transport equipment to 50 pounds.
Desired Requirements\:
DSS-2A Certification. Knowledge of DRSN switch management/maintenance. SVRO and TCO experience. Experience with Cryptographic/COMSEC and COMSEC Responsible Officer requirements. Operations planning and management in a real-time support environment. Ability to prepare, objectively review, and deliver technical presentations. Experience with technical knowledge capturing, training, and certification of personnel. Have demonstrated experience and capability with interfacing with customers at very high levels. 3 years of related experience with modification, and installation of the secure DRSN Network, cryptographic equipment (i.e., KIV-7M), and instruments (IST, STE, and STU-III). Commercial PBX and telephone switch experience. Experience assisting with secure conferencing support.
This position is expected to pay $65,000 - $75,000 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.

Position will require extended periods of sitting while on PC/laptop or phone. Position will require lifting and carrying boxes of supplies, files, or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. Position will require climbing, working at heights, and in small, confined spaces such as under raised floors, inside closets, and server racks. Position will require sitting, stooping, kneeling, and/or crouching for long periods. Position will require work in noisy areas with hotter and colder temperatures than standard office environmental conditions. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and the location of work, traveling moderate to long distances may be required.

General office equipment, which includes telephone, fax machine, copier, PC/laptop, and other miscellaneous office equipment. Servers, switches, routers, and other computer equipment that supports the network environment. Operating hand tools, power tools, ladders, and test equipment.
Attendance
Regular attendance following the established work schedule is mandatory. It is important to be able to work any shift/designated hours required. You may be asked to continue performance during inclement weather or other conditions when others are not permitted to work. You may be asked to continue performance in support of a war, contingency, or exercise.
Travel
Commuting between locations may be required daily (~30-minute drive). May require operating motor vehicles for commuting between locations.
