Overview:\n

The AFINC III contract supporting the 26th\u202fNetwork Operations Squadron (26NOS) is seeking qualified Joint Regional Security Stack (JRSS) Engineer. The JRSS team oversees an enterprise DoD environment supporting the USAF that requires a unique and dynamic skill set.\u202f\n
\n

Experience Required:\n\n5+ years' of professional experience with Big IP F5 products performing systems administration, including installations, configurations, monitoring system performance and availability, upgrades, troubleshooting, and certificate management\noperate, maintain, monitor F5 appliances, configurations, identify BIG-IP Traffic Processing Objects, and analyze overall health and effectiveness of multiple Big IP F5 instances\nManage application integration designs around application logic and authentication configuration (session management, applications redirects, rewrites, migration scenarios, app routing, CAC\/PIV authentication)\nSupport, troubleshoot and configure SSL intercept\/inspections, web certificates, certificate management, PKI Certificate Authority (CA) bundles, private\/public keys\nInstall, configure, and administer Big IP F5 Platform Suite referencing Web Applications with Local Traffic Manager (LTM) and Access Policy Manager (APM) cervices\nInstall and patch Big IP F5 systems, and document DISA Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIGs) checklists\nDesign and administrator load balancing strategies\/techniques, in application switching\/traffic management, knowledge of persistence and SSL certificates\nCreate and maintain documentation detailing architecture components, configurations, monitoring & alerting setup, troubleshooting guides, and checklists\nNotify appropriate Information Technical Equipment Custodian (ITEC) or Property Custodian (PC), in writing, within 4 hours for all accountable item moves\nNeatly bundle and conceal all excess system or peripheral cabling after each installation or repair\n\n

Education Required:\n\nHigh School diploma or GED\n\n

Certifications Required:\n\nF5 Certified Technology Specialist (F5 - CTS) - Local Traffic Manager (LTM) OR F5-CTS - Access Policy Manager (APM) OR F5 BIG-IP Certified Administrator\n\n

Preferred Certifications:\n\nF5 Certified Technology Specialist (F5 - CTS) - Local Traffic Manager (LTM) OR F5-CTS - Access Policy Manager (APM) OR F5 BIG-IP Certified Administrator\n\n
