Job Details Position Summary: The Systems Analyst role involves working independently to support the development and modification of information systems with minimal supervision. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work both remotely and in our physical office space, balancing the benefits of the remote work with occasional in-person collaboration. Key responsibilities include conducting research, analyzing workflows, and gathering facts to define system scope and objectives. The role also entails performing extensive data analytics, documenting findings, and developing automated tools to enhance file building and maintenance processes. The individual should be proficient in all phases of application systems analysis and implementation, including building, testing, documenting, and maintaining systems. Effective collaboration with departmental management to understand and address information system needs is also a critical aspect of the role. Essential Functions: Project Management: Using the Agile management approach, assure customer satisfaction as a top priority. Embrace change at every step of the project. Work together with the business to motivate the project team to produce quality results. Data Analysis: Conduct complex data analysis and prepare detailed reports of findings. Problem Solving: Makes recommendations on the best approaches to resolving business problems with situational awareness. Requirements Definition: Assist clients in defining functional requirements and configuring systems accordingly. Electronic Medical Record: Design, build, implement, optimize, test Epic EMR. Efficiency: Ensure efficient completion of tasks and project assignments following standard procedures. User Support: Ensure timely response to user requests, conduct review meetings with user community, and prioritize projects. Planning and Estimation: Develop work plans, estimate tasks, and timelines. Vendor Management: Work with multiple vendors and manage their involvement in projects and various requests. Organizational Skills: Self-directed, well-organized, with excellent documentation and follow-up skills. Training: Conduct training for staff and facility users when applicable. Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot system problems, communicate resolutions within service level agreements, and develop recommendations for issues. Documentation: Accurately recording time against tasks, maintaining departmental records, and build documentation using the department file shares, Avanti Service Management and ClickUp applications. Reporting: Support timely data submissions for CMS such as core measures and Joint Commission. Support the stakeholders reporting cycles. Continuing Education: Maintain competency through participation in continuing education, seminars and certifications. Compliance: Adhere to CH Services' policies, procedures, and benefits, and comply with the Corporate Compliance Assurance Program and Catholic Health's mission and goals. Information Security: Support the information security awareness program, report any suspected fraud, abuse, or policy violations, and follow all information security policies and procedures. Functional Abilities (including but not limited to): Travel Readiness: Willingness to travel between different entities and application training. Adaptability: Ability to work effectively in high-paced and stressful situations including multi-tasking, switching focus or prioritization. Communication Skills: Comfortable with high-level visibility, including verbal and written interactions with senior management and business partners. Customer Service: Seeks opportunities to provide friendly and courteous service to our end-users. Quality / Safety: Works to the highest quality standards and ensures the safety of patients, self and others. Accountability: Continually evaluates own work for opportunities for improvement. Availability: Takes on-call support rotation as assigned for 24-hour on-call/7 days per week, including holidays. Supports department go-lives as directed. Flexibility: Willingness to work overtime as needed due to project requirements or critical events. Education, Training, and Experience: Education or Experience: A minimum of a Bachelors’ degree or 5 years of relative Information Technology experience preferred. Technology Experience: A variety of healthcare information systems is desirable. Epic clinical or system analyst background is preferred. Office Applications Proficiency: Intermediate to expert skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Access. Internship Experience: Recent graduates should have information systems or business-related internships or part-time employment experiences. Employment Experience: Experience with the healthcare information systems technology is highly desirable. Team Orientation: Participate as a service-oriented, team player. Work in collaboration with others by building team spirit. Communication Skills: Proactive, cooperative and constructive communication style. Able to communicate critical updates and decision points thru SBAR or decision document format. Salary Range USD $95,000.00 - USD $105,000.00 /Yr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
