Job Details Position Summary: The Systems Analyst role involves working independently to support the development and modification of information systems with minimal supervision. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work both remotely and in our physical office space, balancing the benefits of the remote work with occasional in-person collaboration. Key responsibilities include conducting research, analyzing workflows, and gathering facts to define system scope and objectives. The role also entails performing extensive data analytics, documenting findings, and developing automated tools to enhance file building and maintenance processes. The individual should be proficient in all phases of application systems analysis and implementation, including building, testing, documenting, and maintaining systems. Effective collaboration with departmental management to understand and address information system needs is also a critical aspect of the role. Essential Functions: Project Management: Utilize Agile methodology to prioritize customer satisfaction. Embrace change throughout the project lifecycle and work closely with business stakeholders to inspire project teams to deliver high-quality results. Data Analysis: Perform complex data analysis and generate detailed reports on findings. Problem Solving: Provide recommendations for resolving business challenges, demonstrating situational awareness. Requirements Definition: Collaborate with clients to define functional requirements and configure systems accordingly. Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Design, build, implement, optimize, and test Epic EMR systems. Efficiency: Complete tasks and project assignments efficiently by adhering to standard procedures. User Support: Respond promptly to user requests, conduct review meetings, and prioritize projects based on user needs. Planning and Estimation: Develop work plans, estimate tasks, and create realistic project timelines. Vendor Management: Manage multiple vendors and their involvement in projects and other requests. Organizational Skills: Demonstrate self-direction, strong organizational abilities, excellent documentation, and effective follow-up. Training: Provide training for staff and facility users when applicable. Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot system problems, communicate resolutions within service level agreements, and propose recommendations for recurring issues. Documentation: Accurately log time spent on tasks, maintain departmental records, and document system builds using tools such as Avanti Service Management and ClickUp. Reporting: Support timely data submissions to CMS (e.g., core measures) and Joint Commission, ensuring alignment with stakeholder reporting cycles. Continuing Education: Stay current in the field through participation in continuing education, seminars, and certifications. Compliance: Adhere to CH Services' policies, procedures, and Corporate Compliance Assurance Program, supporting Catholic Health’s mission and goals. Information Security: Promote information security awareness, report suspected fraud or policy violations, and comply with all security policies and procedures. Functional Abilities: Travel Readiness: Willingness to travel between facilities and participate in application training. Adaptability: Thrive in high-paced, stressful situations, multitasking effectively while adjusting priorities as needed. Communication Skills: Confidently interact verbally and in writing with senior management and business partners, ensuring clear communication. Customer Service: Seek opportunities to deliver friendly, courteous service to end-users. Quality & Safety: Work to the highest quality standards, ensuring safety for patients, self, and others. Accountability: Regularly evaluate personal work for areas of improvement. Availability: Participate in on-call support rotations (24/7 availability, including holidays) and assist with department go-lives as required. Flexibility: Willing to work overtime as needed for project demands or critical events. Education, Training, and Experience: Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree preferred or at least 5 years of relevant IT experience. Healthcare IT Experience: Familiarity with various healthcare information systems preferred; Epic clinical/system analyst experience required. Office Applications: Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access (intermediate to expert level). Internship/Part-Time Experience: Recent graduates should have relevant internships or part-time employment in information systems or business-related fields. Healthcare IT Background: Experience in healthcare information systems is highly desirable. Team Orientation: Serve as a collaborative, service-oriented team player, fostering team spirit and working effectively with others. Communication: Exhibit proactive, cooperative communication skills, and use structured formats like SBAR or decision documents for critical updates. Salary Range USD $95,000.00 - USD $105,000.00 /Yr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
