System Analyst

Overview

The Systems Analyst serves as the advanced support for A-dec users and customers across A-dec’s technology portfolio. This position is responsible for several activities supporting A-dec applications including training, administration, troubleshooting, lifecycle planning, and system operations. Customer focus and technical aptitude are critical attributes of this role. This position will be part of a team of system analysts residing within A-dec’s Technology Support team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Act as the customer escalation point of contact for A-dec systems and applications.Manage and support administrative and operational activities within A-dec systems and applications, including user management, platform monitoring, and issue resolution.Analyze and prioritize enhancements or modifications required in respective systems based on defined software lifecycle or customer requirements.Manage users, security groups, and access profiles for specific applications and systems.Train, guide, and mentor customers and users in the appropriate use, maintenance, and navigation of systems and applications.Provide training and troubleshooting to other members of the support team.Responsible for testing, documentation, and deployment of systems and system features based on adopted policies and procedures.Accountable for documenting standard operations and procedures for new systems, and may function as a consultant in the process to select new technology investments.On certain occasions, the role may take on project-based responsibilities which require a combination of activities above.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems or related field or equivalent combination of experience and educationMinimum 3 years of experience supporting or administering software applications or enterprise systems, preferably in a product design and fulfillment environmentMust have excellent verbal and written communication skills; be able to work effectively explain technical/complex information with people who have a varying degree of technical knowledge.Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and use resources effectively.Ability to proactively anticipate customer needs, identify appropriate solutions and deliver results.Demonstrated ability to document and improve business processes.Working knowledge and demonstrated proficiency in MS Office products, SharePoint and relational database software.Ability to train business users on technical software and processes.Demonstrated ability to lead projects and train individuals.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in business process support within categories such as order management, fulfillment, product design, marketing and lead management, or customer relationship managementDemonstrated analytical capabilities with fundamental analytical toolsets such as Excel, PowerBI, PowerQuery, PowerBI, T-SQL
