System Director, Diversity & Inclusion

The System Director, Diversity & Inclusion will lead and direct team members in systemwide diversity and inclusion projects and initiatives. The System Director’s team of specialists and coordinators will ensure that diversity and inclusion are part every aspect of associate life to ensure an inclusive culture. The team will provide leadership and partner with ministry leaders so that appropriate training and practices are adopted throughout the system. The System Director will also focus on quantifiable assessment of results by monitoring D&I metrics and reporting results to the department chief and other ministry leaders.

Essential Job Functions

In collaboration with Workforce Management, Executive Talent Acquisition, and Operational Talent Acquisition, the System Director will ensure that Bon Secours Mercy Health’s (BSMH’s) workforce reflects the population the organization serves.Provide leadership, guidance, and strategic support to the members of the System Director’s team and the Leadership Councils for Diversity and Inclusion, to ensure a culture of inclusion.Research and network as appropriate to ensure that diversity and inclusion best practices are incorporated into associate training.Work with Executive Talent Acquisition and Workforce Management to ensure that all markets within the ministry have the tools necessary to achieve KPIs related to Diversity & Inclusion.Partner with Diversity & Inclusion’s Senior Program Manager to ensure that Diversity & Inclusion results are objectively measured and used as branding tools for the ministry.Leverage the market-based Leadership Councils for Diversity & Inclusion (LCDIs) to advance inclusion strategies that connect system-level priorities to market-level objectives.

Employment Qualifications

Required Minimum Education: 4 year/ Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business, or directly related field. Master's Degree preferred.

Minimum Years and Type of Experience: 5 years of Diversity/Inclusion, Human Resources, or related experience required.

Knowledge of applicable federal and state regulations
