Make an Impact! The System Director of Nursing Education & Professional Practice is responsible for system wide leadership, responsibility, and coordination of all aspects of the ANCC Recognition Programs. You will develop strategic goals for achieving and maintaining ANCC Designation status, provide leadership in all aspects of nursing education, clinical competency, and life-long professional development throughout Main Line Health. You are responsible for Nursing Student rotations, the System Nurse Residency Program, Nurse Onboarding.

Position: System Director, Nursing Education and Professional Practice
Shift: Full Time, Monday - Friday

Experience:

Seven to ten years’ progressive Nursing Leadership and Education experience in a complex acute care, teaching hospital or academic medical center. Experience working in a Pathway/Magnet-designated facility.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and a Master’s degree in nursing, healthcare administration, business, or a related field is required. Doctoral degree preferred

Licensures/Certifications:

RN License in PA Specialty Certification in nursing leadership preferred. (ANCC: NE – BC, NEA – BC, or NPD- BC,
