System Director - Hospitalist
Responsibilities POSITION SUMMARY: The System Director is responsible for the planning, developing, organizing, implementing and directing the day to day operations of the clinic functions and Hospitalist’s functions. Develops and implements policies related to clinic practice and physician practice. Monitors and reports financial performance of clinic practice and Hospitalist’s practice. Develop, ensure and active manage productivity, cost, efficiency, and quality metrics are being achieved by all Hospitalists. Promote collaborative partnerships across departments and organization to achieve Hospitalists performance improvement. Leads the Outpatient network relationship with Prominence Health, other aligned ACO partners, and the Hospitalists. Assures appropriate compliance with applicable laws and regulations. This position will have direct oversight of the Director of Hospitlaists. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Must have a minimum three years experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, clinic or practice setting or four years substantial healthcare responsibility.Effective working knowledge of healthcare financial management, specifically medical practice accounting, third party reimbursement issues, patient flow and facilities management. 2. Knowledge of organizational policies, procedures, health care administration systems, governmental regulations and compliance requirments. and objectives 3. Ability to exercise initiate, sound judgement and problem-solving techinques in the decision making process 4. Must demonstrate commitment and adherence to STHS’s Compliance Program and Code of Conduct through compliance with all policies and procedures, the Code of Conduct, attendance at required training and immediately reporting suspected compliance issue(s) to the Compliance Officer. EDUCATION / LICENSURE: 1 Master’s Degree in Administration or Health Administration required.
