Job Description: \n

We are seeking a System Engineer with at least 5 years of relevant experience within the last 8 years. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or other related technical disciplines. This role involves working closely with system users to translate requirements into functional system designs. The successful candidate will be responsible for solving engineering problems, managing solutions, and participating in the development of test strategies. Experience with containerization technologies is required, and experience with CI\/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and RedHat OpenShift is preferred.\n
\n

Key Responsibilities:\n\nEngage with system users to understand their needs and translate them into detailed hardware, software, and system requirements.\nSupport the design, development, and modification of systems based on user input and technical expertise.\nParticipate in the creation and execution of test strategies to validate system functionality.\nAddress engineering challenges within the assigned functional area.\nManage or guide the solution of engineering problems.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of system specifications with user needs.\nLeverage containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) in the system development process.\nPreferred experience with RedHat OpenShift for managing and scaling applications in a containerized environment.\nExperience with CI\/CD pipelines for automating system deployments and updates.\nFamiliarity with DevOps practices that enable efficient collaboration between development and operations teams.\n\n

Education Requirements:\n\nBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or another Engineering\/Technical discipline is required.\nA minimum of 5 years of relevant experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.\n\n
\n

Clearance Requirement:\n\nActive Top Secret \/ SCI clearance required.\n\n
\n

Required Experience:\n\nMinimum of 5 years of relevant experience within the last 8 years.\nExperience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.\n\n
\n

Preferred Skills:\n\nExperience in systems engineering or related technical fields.\nStrong problem-solving skills in a technical environment.\nFamiliarity with RedHat OpenShift and its use in managing containerized applications.\nExperience with CI\/CD pipelines for automating deployment processes.\nDevOps experience to foster collaboration between development and operations teams.\nAbility to manage complex projects and collaborate effectively with a diverse team.\nFamiliar with the US Army DCGS-A FoS\n\n
