Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent years of experience5 to 8 years of systems engineering experience Expert level knowledge of server hardware, Microsoft Active Directory and Azure AD, Microsoft Azure Cloud, and VMWareKnowledge of FreshService and NinjaOne RMM preferredMicrosoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) or relevant certifications preferredOffice environment with occasional travel up to 15% to: correctional facilities, regional offices, client and/or vendor sites. Provides on call (night/weekend) assistance in support of the company’s 24 x 7 computer operations.

ResponsibilitiesInstall, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot moderately complex application server hardware, software, and peripheral devices.Manage security concerning operating system and application solutions by following industry standard best practices under the guidance of the Information Security Engineer.Lead the implementation of all equipment, hardware and software upgrades.Implement and maintain policies, procedures and associated training plans for IT infrastructure and end user administration, appropriate use, and disaster recovery.Implement and maintain policies, procedures and associated training plans for VMWare and Microsoft Azure administration, appropriate use, and disaster recovery.Create and modify documentation for datacenter and cloud environments.Administer and maintain end user accounts, permissions, and access rights.Lead SaaS implementations and support as the senior technical representative for YesCare.Interface with internal and external customers on solution design and implementation.Monitor and test storage performance of the datacenter and cloud environments.Recommend, schedule, and perform environment, OS, and application improvements, upgrades, and repairs.Lead and assist in completion of special projects on as needed basis.Assist the various departments in their technology efforts as needed.On call rotations as required.
