Title:
System EngineerKBR is seeking an IT Systems Engineer to support the Government customer in defining new mission requirements, to include the analysis, documentation, and its maintenance. The candidate will perform classic Systems Engineering sub-tasks such as Requirements, Configuration Management, Integration, Verification, Validation and Test (IV&V), Risk and Readiness. This position envisions representing the Government team and working with development contractors in performing all aspects of agile software development and deployment of mission software to operations.
This is a contingent position based upon contract award
Responsibilities include:
Provide technical recommendations and advice on the development and integration of requirements supporting the IT EnterpriseWork with Enterprise IT support offices and contracts to accomplish Government requirementsConduct analysis of system requirements based on technical and functional needs; and provide support to design and development activitiesHelp guide users in formulating requirements, advise alternative approaches, and conduct feasibility studiesAnalyze user requirements, concept of operation documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specificationConduct needs and gaps, capability, system, or service technology roadmaps assessmentsInteract with the Government customer regarding system engineering technical considerations and associated problems, issues, or conflictsMinimum Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI with PolygraphMaster’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, and/or Math field and 4 years of experience in system engineering. Bachelor’s Degree and 6 years of experience or Associate’s Degree and 8 years of experience can be substitutedCan work independently and as part of a teamDemonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent communication and coordination skillsRelevant experience working with the Intelligence Community organizationsTravel Requirements:
