Job Description

ASRC Federal is looking for a Systems Engineer to support the work with the Command, Control, Computers, Communications, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, & Reconnaissance (C5ISR) located at APG, MD.  Individuals must be able to perform all functional duties independently, with limited supervision.  This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, allowing for some flexibility to work remotely. However, it necessitates regular on-site presence at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD, to provide support.

 

 

Job responsibilities will include:

Provide systems engineering services and subject matter expertise to validate technical and operational solutions. Create test procedures, test cases, test threads, and scenarios to capture measures of effectiveness and performance. Ensure comprehensive testing to validate vendor solutions. Witness test events and document findings. Coordinate engineering reviews for system configurations and operational documentation. Review vendor-delivered technical documentation. Write technical requirements, engineering documents, configuration management documents, and troubleshooting processes. Provide systems engineering inputs to acquisition documentation including Statements of Work, specifications, and government Milestone (MS) C documentation. Provide reports of vendor software identified defects, assist with prioritization of vendor issues, and conduct configuration control boards and engineering reviews. Support the development of inputs to Request for Information, Request for Proposals, etc., as defined by government stakeholders. Provide requirements management and system architecture expertise to ensure traceability of requirements and adequate system architecture documentation. Provide Risk Management to ensure system risks are captured, documented, tracked, and mitigated. Provide tracking, management, and purchasing support for hardware and software items. Assist with the development of training support documentation.
