The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a detail-oriented, motivated, and emotionally intelligent system engineer to support an exciting mission software development program and help ensure processes and structures are consistently followed.
As a motivated manager on this exciting program, you will support our software development and engineering teams who are providing mission software to our clients.
Responsibilities:
As a member of the Engineering team, we will look to you to:
• Participate and support our engineering and Agile XP software development processes to include Iteration Planning Meetings (IPMs) preparation and facilitation and ensure team adherence to them
• Support the Product Managers in developing and tracking progress against product roadmaps and COTS upgrades
• Coordinate with the external integration team to ensure automated tests are passing, our processes are set up to support the overall stakeholder requirements, and communicate changes to our application that will impact their tests
• Develop program and product overview briefings for stakeholders
• Assist in the creation of any training documentation as users begin transitioning from legacy programs to our program
• Review Agency Systems’ requests for change (RFCs) to determine impact to our program and track the RFCs with impact
• Develop and maintain engineering and process documentation for the program on Confluence
• Track and manage a small list of hardware for the program
• Manage staff within the program, counsel them through their career goals, and assist in interviews and onboarding
• Work in dynamic environments that require a high level of team interaction and coordination of eff orts.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
• Clearance: Must have TS/SCI with CI poly (or be willing to take CI poly)
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree
• Experience: minimum of 7 years experience in system engineering or supporting a software development program
• Available to work in-person full-time in an office environment at a CACI facility in Sterling, VA or Aurora, CO
• Demonstrated experience working with others in a team environment.
• Willingness to learn new skills and technologies
• Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills and good time management skills.
• Ability to work with the other team members (Developers, tech leads, engineers) team to support overall program goals
• Self-motivated and capable of performing tasks with minimal oversight

The proposed salary range for this position is:
