Job Description Insight Global is seeking two Systems Engineers to join their client in the Data Center industry. This role is focused on hardware lifecycle, specifically the installation of new equipment via a Server Refresh project, and the decommissioning of retired hardware.Responsibilities include: 1. Preparing for the install of new hardware: -Survey server rooms and racks, and solve any problems related to rack space, power, network port capacity, and rack cleanliness in preparation for installing new hardware. -Prepare installation materials to enable hardware install (rack diagrams and layouts, cabling diagrams, etc). 2. Execute hardware install: -Guide on-site technician through install and verify successful install. 3.Configure: -Fully deploy all new hardware according to requirements. -Deploy all required virtual servers. -Follow deployment workflow ticketing process. 4. Decommission: -Follow decom process for all retired hardware.
