Role Overview: As a Vehicle System Engineer, you'll work with designers, customers, suppliers, and engineers. You'll be the technical contact for project teams and external parties, resolving design issues and defining system specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Understand vehicle systems and analyze diagnostic/maintenance data.Define system specifications based on customer requirements.Review and analyze technical specifications and work breakdown structures.Provide internal technical support and interface with customers.Improve vehicle assembly, maintenance, and procedures.Assess and ensure RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, Safety) performance.Support design improvements and failure analysis.Essential Skills:
Expertise with SAP.Experience in railcar engineering and systems engineering.Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.).Knowledge of electrical and mechanical validation.Experience in rail transportation.Additional Skills:
Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics).2 years of experience in railway vehicle systems design or maintenance.Ability to interpret electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical drawings.Knowledge of railway vehicle system functions and maintenance procedures.Understanding of statistical analysis and RAMS.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $105000.00/yr.
