Kforce has a client that is seeking a System Engineer - Acoustic/Audio in Rochester, NY. Summary: The Audio Engineer functions as a Project Engineer with expertise in analog and digital voice audio as well as digital signal processing. They will serve as technical expert and manage projects to identify, qualify and launch products and acoustic devices for use in military and public service sectors. Responsibilities: * System Engineer leads or participates in a project team of other engineers and internal and outsourced development partners to ensure delivery of reliable, cost effective and high-quality solutions for audio-related accessories * Serves as subject matter expert for radio teams, consulting on analog and digital audio-related features and solutions * Maintain product structures, documentation, and design validation data throughout the lifecycle of the product: from design to implementation to obsolescence * Collaborates and communicates with management, internal teams, manufacturing, and suppliers worldwide regarding manufacturing status, project progress, and issue resolution * As a System Engineer, you will represent the accessory product engineering team for all phases of complex supply chain projects * Participate in product and process e3 cost reduction and product improvement efforts * Up to 10% travel may be required
