Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote & office). The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of our Indianapolis, IN PulsePoint office location.

The System Engineer II is responsible for providing programming in a client server environment using Visual Basic standards and procedures.  

How You Will Make An Impact:

Provides technical support for desktop application development in customer service units.Creates software requirements based on business needs and ensures they are incorporated into system design and testing.Creates test cases and executes before and during programming.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires BS/BA in Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 2 years of experience in PC Programming, preferably utilizing visual Basic or C++, or Visual Basic 5.0/6.0, C++, MS Access 2.0/97, Microsoft Office products and general mainframe functions; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.  This position is part of our NGS (National Government Services) division which, per CMS TDL 190275, requires foreign national applicants meet the residency requirement of living in the United States at least three of the past five years.

Preferred Skills, Experiences & Capabilities:

Microsoft certified courses in Visual basic, SQL Server, and/or Access strongly preferred.  Novell 4.1, SQL Server 6.5/7.0, Windows NT, and OLD Programming experience strongly preferred.
