The Leidos has a career opportunity for a System Engineer in the Ft. Meade area, MD. An active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required to be considered for this role.
Program Summary

Job Summary
The Systems Engineer analyzes user’s requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications. Analyzes system requirements and leads design and development activities. Guides users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches, and conducts feasibility studies. Provides technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology. Incorporates new plans, designs, and systems into ongoing operations. Develops technical documentation. Develops system Architecture and system design. Guides system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans. Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues, or conflicts. Ultimate responsibility for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility. Communicates with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.
The System Engineer supporting a TTO will:
Support the program define mission needs and the operational, technical, functional, and support system requirements to satisfy the mission needs.
Support system design, integration, test, training, and sustainment of systems and upgrades.
Provide manufacturing support to the systems to include design, development, and fabrication of required components.
Support the installation, deployment, system verification, and training of systems to field sites.
Develop and maintain site diagrams to include, health and status of systems, and other technical documents for sites.
Support the operation and mission restoration of systems.
Plan and coordinate mission outages with government approval.
Provide engineering consultation, to include technology/product research, design reviews, and trade studies.
Required Qualifications
Active TS/SCI with polygraph
BS in an SE, CS or a related field and 7 +years experience as a Systems Engineer OR 12+ years of Systems Engineering experience without a degree
