We are seeking a Systems Engineer with strong system administration skills. The Systems Engineer shall focus on system health and sustainment by providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 help desk services. The engineer shall monitor the \"health and status\" of systems and networks. This contract and the position's responsibilities encompasses multiple and interrelated functions which sustain and enhance current and future fielded systems.\n

This position is located OCONUS. Exact location details will be provided to qualified candidates during the hiring process. Applicants must be willing to live and work in an overseas environment, often in austere or high-risk conditions\n

Position requires an active TS\/SCI with polygraph level clearance. US citizenship is required.\n

Required Skills: \n\nExperience configuring, installing, managing and troubleshooting UNIX and Windows operating systems to include both GOTS\/COTS software\nExperience supporting IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client\/server\/storage\/network devices\nExperience optimizing system operations and resource utilization, and performing system capacity analysis \nIn depth understanding of computer networks with ability to identify, troubleshoot, and document network connectivity and performance issues.\nExperience providing Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems \nAt least 5 years analyzing and correcting data flow issues within systems\nExperience in understanding network diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot dataflow and computer system related issues.\nWorking knowledge of enterprise dataflow and Nifi\n\n

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and fourteen (14) years of system engineering experience or nineteen (19) years' experience in lieu of degree.\n

IAT level II baseline certification as defined by DoD 8570.01-M is required.\n
