We are responsible for aligning multiple teams across Apple on key product objectives and driving new product development, from concept review to first customer ship. **Description**
Our team is responsible for enabling multiple teams to efficiently deliver high-quality, sophisticated systems by collaborating with various people to define system hardware, features, and schedule baseline. In this role, you will need to understand the complexities of hardware and software system development and be able to orchestrate all of it into a program plan and schedule that you then efficiently implement! You will lead program baseline and active investigations, system schedule, critical paths, and technical risks. You will also be responsible for identifying and highlighting engineering risk areas, partnering with engineering domain experts to develop mitigation paths forward, and clearly communicating project status, top issues, and escalations to the project core team, along with senior leadership. **Minimum Qualifications**
+ BS degree in Engineering required, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred
+ Proven experience in Program Management or Hardware Engineering and leading multiple teams in new product development
+ Directly led at least 2 product development cycles for a System with hardware and software integration involved
