To provide specialist high-level technical advice for installing, testing, tuning, diagnosing, repairing and maintaining hardware and system software.Drive business profitability in the context of cost management through Information technology solutionsIncrease operational efficiency and suggest solutions to enhance cost effectivenessDeliver exceptional service that exceeds customers expectations through proactive, innovative and appropriate solutions by resolving queries fast end effectiveCultivate and manage objective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including end-users, SME’s, project managers and senior staff members by providing input to business requirementsProvide secondly level standby and complex problem resolution by interfacing with vendor support to resolve complex application and system configurationsWork with management to develop database strategies to support company need in effective database performance.Monitor changes in legislation, regulations, initiatives and relevant industry practices. Ensure drafting and implementation of appropriate interventions.  Ensure compliance with audit requirementsExplore ways to constantly improve quality of existing services, processes and systems in order to be more efficientAdvise management on effective applications with regards to Maintenance, Support, Man machine interfaces and Data management.Manage system enhancements by implementations and changes after testing. Draft system definition documentation to ensure effective implementationDefine host software products and ensure availability of Host SoftwareExplore ways to constantly improve quality of existing services, processes and systems in order to be more efficientManage own development to increase own competenciesIn-depth system / application knowledge obtain and sustain to maximise contribution to the role

Experience and Education

Grade 12Tertiary Qualification 3 - 5 years Experience
