Responsibilities
Execute System level test cases for verifying client’s product line in areas of:
- Interoperability Testing
- Performance Testing
- Negative/Exception Testing
- System Stability and Stress Testing
- Work closely with SQA, development and build engineers to deliver test results
- Develop, document and maintain test plans, automation infrastructure/scripts and tools
- Develop Customer Use Case scenarios and build up the test bed to execute them
Knowledge & Experience:
- At least 5 years direct experience with System Level Testing
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and Cellular communication
- Knowledge of Automating GUI/CLI automation tools and scripting such a Test Complete and TCL
- Knowledge of Java and Java Web services/utilities
- Knowledge of Database administration and usage (MySQL)
- Strong Knowledge of SNMP
- In-depth understanding of the principles and best practices of SQA
- Solid understanding and practical experience of software development life cycles, with emphasis on
- SQA engineering functions
- Experience with SCM (AccuRev preferred) and bug tracking system (JIRA preferred)
Education: - BS degree in software engineering or computer science and 5+ years equivalent work experience.
