We have an exciting opportunity for a System Manager Lead for Avionics Projects to join the team with Nexus, a teammate company.
The System Manager Lead for Avionics Projects will\:
Serve as the System Manager and Subject Matter Expert for two Avionic Projects in the Avionic System Division at NASA Johnson Space Center working with NASA's Commercial Partnerships Perform Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) activities including requirements, interfaces, verifications, and integrated performance throughout project lifecycle across internal and external organizations Assess and document design compliance of NASA agency project requirements to commercial providers Maintain and update requirements including Verification Requirements and Interface Requirements Documents Track and maintain requirement documents on task schedule Track and report financial data for the project to the customer in presentations and document tracking systems Support the verification activities including verification objectives and procedures, end to end testing development and reviewing Verification Completion Notices Develop and support sub-project requirement and verification data packages to support architecture requirements, design, verification/validation, operations, and sustaining engineering tasks Conduct product life cycle reviews, coordinate integration, verification, and validation activities Review verification and validation reports to verify compliance with project requirements Participate and contribute to System Requirements Reviews (SRR), Mission Concept Reviews (MCR), Preliminary Design Reviews (PDR) and Critical Design Reviews (CDR) Perform and review system level architecture trade studies and analyses that will influence the overall electrical design and performance Perform other duties as required Must have good communication and organizational skills and the ability to work in a team environment *Are you passionate about human space exploration, understanding the origins of the universe, and working with a passionate and diverse team to make a difference?
