NVIDIA has continuously reinvented itself over two decades. Our invention of the GPU in 1999 sparked the growth of the PC gaming market, redefined modern computer graphics, and revolutionized parallel computing. More recently, GPU deep learning ignited modern AI — the next era of computing. NVIDIA is a “learning machine” that constantly evolves by adapting to new opportunities that are hard to resolve, that only we can seek, and that matter to the world. This is our life’s work, to amplify human inventiveness and intelligence.
NVIDIA Silicon Solutions Group is seeking a versatile engineer to be part of a Silicon HW team. You will be interpreting product goals, finding opportunities, and working across teams to develop and propose new features. Your contributions will have a direct impact on the NVIDIA products and will span across different product segments.
What you will be doing:
As a product definition engineer for NVIDIA's family of chips and products, you will analyze production silicon in state-of-the-art process technologies for performance and power to define the world’s fastest products.
Drive evaluation and productization of system-level power power/performance features, ensuring their successful integration in POR and meet product schedule.
Develop methodologies and workflow on experiments design, test case execution, characterization, results analysis, and power/perf modeling.
Analyze power/performance data and results to provide detailed reports and recommendations to improve for design feedback.
Work alongside system architects, chip and board designers, software/firmware engineers, HW/SW applications engineering, process/reliability specialists, ATE engineers, product managers, sales, and operations, in a multifaceted, high-energy work environment to bring industry-defining products to market.
Continuously improve methodologies and workflows to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of evaluation and analysis processes.
What we need to see:
MS in EE, CE, CS, Systems Engineering or equivalent experience.
Proven experience of 5+ years in product level power and performance analysis and optimization.
Experience with system level features, product binning methods, optimization techniques, methods and tools for data analysis and statistics.
Familiarity with silicon bringup and validation, frequency, and power characterization; hands-on post silicon experience.
Excellent problem solving, partnership, and interpersonal skills. Exposure to CPU/GPU/SoC architecture and HW-SW co-design is a plus.
Excellent verbal communication and written, presentation skills. Experience working with offshore teams is required.
NVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers. We have some of the most brilliant and talented people in the world working with us. If you're creative and autonomous, we want to hear from you!
