System Program Lead
ACTIVE TS CLEARANCE WITH SCI ELIGIBILITY REQUIRED TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION
As the Systems Program & Design Engineer Lead, you will be responsible for providing program execution liaison and outreach to stakeholders and executive management. You will coordinate and provide program liaison and outreach to multiple mission-specific communities and user-groups to ensure future network designs and architecture meet current and planned requirements.
Responsibilities:
Serves as primary interface to the community partners that design, build, and deliver network and related information technology systems and capabilities to the government.Conducts networks and information services assessments against baseline architectures to determine gaps, deficiencies, and compliance.Tracks costs, schedule, and performance of government systems and capabilities.Provides coordination support for DoD entities, IC partners, specific Other Government Agencies (OGAs) and foreign partners.Schedules and executes periodic formal and informal coordination meetings as required to ensure the capture of necessary data and provide guidance.Develops a range of architecture materials, implementation status, and gap analysis reports in support of the Chief Architect.Ensures technical security solutions incorporate stakeholder and mission requirements.Assist in defining technical solutions by analyzing stakeholder and mission requirements to assess the viability of solutions to meet the requirements (capabilities, timeline, quality, and budget)Education, Experience, and Abilities:
15 years Department of Defense or Intelligence Community experience preferred.10 years of experience of the global and domestic information technology and communications commercial market.Experience in technical program management for complex Information Technology (IT) systems.Experience in providing IT Systems solutions for the DoD or IC.Experience in wide range of IT elements, including optical transport, routed networks, transport data encryption, and hybrid Cloud systems.Experience in liaison and outreach activities to stakeholders, executive management, and with mission-specific communities and user-groups.Bachelor's Degree. Graduate degree preferred.TS clearance with SCI eligibility.Geographic Location: Chantilly, VA
