Danfoss Climate Solutions, HydronicS, is seeking an experienced System Engineer with a specialization in testing to join our Controls and Meters Product Team. This team focuses on developing best in class heat meters and electronic controllers. As the global emphasis on digitalization grows, the demand for connectivity, IoT, and cloud solutions has surged, requiring innovative products that can provide critical data for optimization and enhanced services.

Job Responsibilities

 

Automated Product Testing: Design, execute, and maintain automated tests for both application-level and firmware-level software functionality. This ensures that our products consistently meet their intended purpose throughout development and their entire lifecycle. Collaboration Across Teams: You’ll actively engage with our other development teams. Your goal? To ensure that our system undergoes thorough testing early in the development process, optimizing its performance. Quality Assurance: You’ll be an important part of ensuring that development projects adhere to deadlines and meet the high-quality standards expected by our customers. Analysis and Evaluation: Dive into regression test runs, evaluate results, and collaborate closely with the development team and Product Owner to drive continuous improvement. Test Framework Development: You’ll be part of developing and enhancing our test framework, tools, and best practices. Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing: Participate in requirement reviews, design discussions, code inspections, and verification and validation test reviews. Qualifications:

Education: A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Experience: around 35 years of hands-on experience in software development and testing.

 

Key Competencies:

SW Test Techniques: You possess a thorough understanding of software test techniques, methods, and metrics. Modern Development Tools: You’re comfortable using modern software development tools such as GIT, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines. Python Proficiency: You’re skilled in programming with Python, preferably including the PyTest framework. C and C# Basics: A basic understanding of C and C# will serve you well. Legacy Systems Support: Familiarity with NI Teststand is advantageous for maintaining legacy test systems. ISTQB Certification: While not mandatory, ISTQB or similar training is considered a plus.
