The Vision Products Group (VPG) is looking for an engineer to help build the next generation of system experiences for visionOS. This team is working with some of Apple’s most advanced technologies including spatial computing, ARKit, and RealityKit to create system experiences such as Control Center, Mac Virtual Display, Notifications, and other ground-breaking visionOS experiences.DescriptionDescriptionThe visionOS System UI team works cross-functionally with design, hardware, and software engineering teams to build the system applications for Apple Vision Pro. As an engineer on the visionOS System UI team, you will work with technologies such as ARKit, RealityKit, and SwiftUI to build experiences for Apple Vision Pro while collaborating with the Apple design team to develop and iterate first-class applications such as Display Adjustment, Lock Screen, and the hand-anchored affordances for Home View and Control Center. As part of the team, you will collaborate with team members to solve difficult but rewarding challenges from exploring techniques to reduce rendering time on a millisecond scale to optimizing Mac Virtual Display by performing dynamic foveation on the Mac. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $128,300 and $237,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
