The ideal candidate will have experience with Linux, CentOS 7, Rocky, and RedHat. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our Linux-based systems to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability. **Responsibilities:** + Install, configure, and maintain Linux operating systems (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu). + Monitor system performance and ensure reliability and availability. + Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues. + Implement and manage security measures to protect data and systems. + Automate tasks using scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python). + Collaborate with other IT team members to support various projects. + Maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and policies. + Update systems as new versions of OS and application software are released. \#Javelin **Requirements:** + Bachelor’s degree in computer science , Information Technology, or a related field. + Proven experience as a Linux System Administrator or similar role. + Strong knowledge of Linux, CentOS 7, Rocky, and RedHat. + Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Bash. + Experience with databases and patch management. + Knowledge of system security techniques. + Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, KVM). + Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. **Clearance Required: Top Secret w/ FS Poly** **Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.** **Minimum Years of Experience: 3** + Understanding of cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud). + Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols. + Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus. \#javelin .
