Systems Administrator

Description We are seeking a Systems Administrator to join our team in Midland, Texas. In this role, you will be tasked with the responsibility of maintaining and supporting our communication networks and infrastructure projects. You will also provide backup support to other Infrastructure roles and manage the Technology group's asset inventory.
Responsibilities:
• Designing and administering various network topologies, ensuring efficient operations
• Providing substantial expertise in Cisco Meraki and other relevant systems
• Supporting the communications networks across the infrastructure projects
• Offering backup support to other OT Infrastructure roles
• Demonstrating critical thinking and problem-solving skills through effective time management, organizational and planning processes
• Managing and maintaining Technology groups' asset inventory
• Working with team members to complete multi-staged projects and troubleshoot issues at multiple locations
• Maintaining strong customer relationships and providing excellent customer service
• Connecting with business partners from different backgrounds and technical abilities
• Utilizing project management tools effectively to manage tasks and projects
• Working flexible hours to provide 24x7 support and participate in an on-call environment to meet business continuity requirements. Requirements • Candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Systems Administrator or in a similar role
• Proficiency in Cisco Technologies is essential
• Strong knowledge of Database Management is required
• Must have experience with Linux Technologies
• Proficiency in the use of Active Directory is required
• Knowledge of Backup Technologies is mandatory
• Experience with Computer Hardware is essential
• Must have expertise in Configuration Management
• Experience in Deployments is a must
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Must have the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Must have a proactive approach to problem-solving and strong decision-making skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
